CLC'S HOLIDAY CLOSING SCHEDULE
Children's Learning Center will be closed Thursday, November 26th & Friday, November 27th, 2015 for Thanksgiving.
Children's Learning Center will be closed Thursday, December 24th, 2015 through Friday January 1st, 2016 for Winter Break.
Children's Learning Center Honors Employees and Community at its Annual Board Meeting
Children's Learning Center held its annual board meeting on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 at the 4-C office in Dekalb. The board recognized employees for longevity. Pictured below; Kelly Kohley and Aaron Vowels were recognized for 5 years and Jose Perez for 10 years of service to CLC. The board named Jessica Carls the recipient of the Olivia Mesa Memorial Award as voted by her fellow employees. The board also recognized Maureen and Don Weberpal with the Mandy Derrington Friend of the Child Award which is given to individuals who have been instrumental in improving the lives of children in our community.

Children’s Learning Center enrolls children from six weeks to twelve years of age. CLC is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services to serve 146 children at the day care center ("Main Center") at 905 South Fourth Street, and a total of 66 school-age children in two DeKalb elementary schools.
CLC is open Monday through Friday from 6:35 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 905 South Fourth Street. The before school program at Littlejohn School operates on school days from 6:45 a.m. to school time; the after school programs at Lincoln and Littlejohn Schools are open on regular school days from dismissal to 5:30 p.m. See the calendar page for school holidays and days the Center is closed.
Children's Learning Center is a Kishwaukee United Way partner agency and a member program of Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C), serving the DeKalb area since 1968. An independent not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a Board of Directors, Children's Learning Center welcomes donations of funds and materials.
