Children's Learning Center Main Center has earned a STAR LEVEL 3 AWARD from the Illinois Quality Counts: Quality Rating System, in recognition of this program's effort in going beyond the minimum state licensing requirements to help children receive an enhanced learning and care experience.
Children’s Learning Center enrolls children from six weeks to twelve years of age. CLC is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services to serve 146 children at the day care center ("Main Center") at 905 South Fourth Street, and a total of 66 school-age children in two DeKalb elementary schools.
CLC is open Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 905 South Fourth Street. The before school program at Littlejohn School operates on school days from 6:45 a.m. to school time; the after school programs at Lincoln and Littlejohn Schools are open on regular school days from dismissal to 5:30 p.m. See the calendar page for school holidays and days the Center is closed.
